WWI

The relics below were found in battlefields in Poland. These artifacts were used by German soldiers during the war and include several everyday household items brought to the battlefield, many of which, were left lot rot after WWI had ended.

Above are parts of a Jacobus D. R. P. 126135 model light fixture. The artifact was found in pieces and was reconstructed in what would have been its original configuration. This example appears to have been black and gold in color which is different from most surviving examples in which this part would have been white.
