About Us

James M. Wilson, Founder and Curator

The J. M. Wilson Museum of History, or the Wilson History Museum, is a virtual museum that documents history through artifacts and the stories they tell. The museum was founded by James M. Wilson in 2015 and is based in Quakertown, PA. Our collection consists of artifacts that go as far back as we can find all the way up until the current day. Our official YouTube channel is called The World Wide History of History. We also have a site where we document old buildings and historic sites. You can visit it by clicking the button below.

Our Mission

Our goal is to preserve history for future generations to come. We want to be able to make history accessible to as many people as possible in a reliable way. The museum tries to preserve as much history as possible. Our philosophy is this. We believe that when it comes to history, there is something for everyone. No matter what you are interested in, there is something for you and we try to display many types of artifacts that preserve the history of many subjects.

We source many of our artifacts from antique shops, flea markets, thrift shops, yard sales, auction houses, etc. A few of the artifacts have been donated by friends and family. Overall, we hope to instill a similar passion in as many people as possible.
