About the Collection

Religion is a part of the lives of millions of people around the world as it has been for over a millennium. Whether it be God, Jesus, Allah, Buddha, Brahma, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster, there are many different forms of religion with different teaching and beliefs. This exhibit focuses on the history of religion through artifacts that were created as part of it or because of it. The goal of this exhibit is to document at least a small part of the belief systems that have played a role in the world's history for better or worse.
