Magazines

This is a British edition issue of Yank: The Army Weekly from November 21, 1943. Yank was a magazine published for the soldiers of the U.S. Army which ran from June 17, 1942, until December 28, 1945. The magazine featured articles on the life of soldiers, cartoons, and the goings-on back at home. The final page/ back cover of each issue featured a pin-up photo, usually depicting a well-known actress or model. This issue featured a picture of actress Elyse Knox.
